Candace Owens, a prominent conservative figure, has responded to a scathing attack by Pastor John Amanchukwu, who described her as 'evil' and 'demonic' during a Turning Point USA event. The pastor, who works with TPUSA Faith, an offshoot of Charlie Kirk's organization, criticized Owens for her conspiracy theories surrounding Kirk's assassination. Owens has repeatedly hinted at foreign interference in the incident, but lacks concrete evidence to support her claims. Owens' response to the pastor's remarks was immediate and laced with sarcasm. She took to social media to mock the pastor's demand for applause, saying 'God wants you to CLAP for me.' However, Owens has taken her criticism a step further, issuing a challenge to all pastors across the US. In a recent post on X, Owens claimed that most pastors mention her or Tucker Carlson in their sermons at least once. She dared them to get through a full sermon without mentioning either of them. However, her assertion has been met with skepticism by many, including Megan Basham, a NYT bestseller. Basham, who regularly listens to sermons from prominent pastors, has stated that she has never heard either Owens or Carlson mentioned in a sermon, except for one pastor, JD Greear. Amid widespread criticism, Owens clarified her statement, saying she was referring specifically to Turning Point Faith pastors who have been trending for their sermons on her. However, the damage may have already been done, with many questioning Owens' relevance and self-importance.
