Christmas Magic at Arrowhead: Symphony to Serenade Chiefs vs Broncos Halftime, The Voice Contestants to Sing National Anthem
Kansas City’s season finale at Arrowhead Stadium, a Christmas Day clash against the Denver Broncos, will include a special holiday performance
The Kansas City Chiefs' Christmas Day clash against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium promises to be a festive affair, with a special holiday performance by the Kansas City Symphony during halftime and a talented duo from The Voice singing the national anthem. This season finale marks the last time Chiefs fans will see their players at home, as Patrick Mahomes and his teammates (6-9) have been eliminated from postseason contention.
Denver, meanwhile, arrives in Kansas City with momentum, having won 11 of their last 12 games and secured a playoff berth. A victory in Week 17 could give them the AFC West crown and the conference's No. 1 seed, a feat no team other than the Broncos has achieved since 2015.
The national anthem will be performed by Brianna Yancey, an actor-musician, and Mikaela Ayira, a former The Voice contestant, ahead of the 8:15 PM ET kickoff. Fans across the US can catch the game live on Amazon Prime Video.
The Kansas City Symphony, directed by Matthias Pintscher, will take center stage for the halftime show. One of the leading symphonies in the country, the orchestra has been a cornerstone of the city's cultural scene since its founding in 1982. With 80 full-time musicians, the ensemble is known for its diverse repertoire and has served as the performing orchestra for the Kansas City Ballet and the Lyric Opera of Kansas City.
