A chilling new video has surfaced showing the November 26 shooting in Washington DC, which left two National Guard members critically injured and one dead. Sarah Beckstrom, 38, passed away after being shot in the chest and head. Andrew Wolfe remains in critical condition after surgery. The shooting, which occurred just a few blocks from the White House, has been described as a targeted attack. The suspect, 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, reportedly ambushed the soldiers using a .357 Smith & Wesson revolver. Lakanwal, who entered the US in 2021, is believed to have driven from Washington state to carry out the attack. He had previously worked with a CIA-backed unit of the Afghan army before settling in the US. The incident has sparked concerns over national security, with President Trump calling it a 'terrorist attack' and criticizing the Biden administration for allowing unvetted Afghans to enter the country. Trump stated that the US must have full control over who enters and remains in the country. The video, released by The Wall Street Journal, shows a National Guard member running for cover as shots are fired.
