Zachery Ty Bryan, known for his role in the popular sitcom Home Improvement, has found himself in trouble with the law once again. The actor and his girlfriend, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, were arrested in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday, according to reports from TMZ. Bryan, 42, was taken into custody for allegedly violating the terms of his probation related to a 2023 domestic violence conviction. He was denied bail and is expected to remain in jail until December 3. Cartwright, 27, was also arrested and booked into the same jail, facing multiple charges, including DUII, three counts of reckless endangerment, and attempted first-degree assault. This latest incident is not Bryan's first run-in with the law. In 2020, he was involved in an altercation with Cartwright, which led to a menacing conviction. He was still serving probation from that conviction when he was arrested again in Oregon. The actor has also faced charges in Oklahoma and South Carolina, including a DUII arrest and an accusation of assaulting and strangling Cartwright. In a recent interview, Bryan claimed he was on a 'journey toward personal growth' and working to take accountability for his past violent behavior. However, his actions in Oregon suggest that he may still have a long way to go in addressing his personal issues. The case is ongoing, with Cartwright scheduled to make her first court appearance on Monday.
