Minneapolis ICE Shooting: Trump Blames 'Radical Left' as Video Shows Woman 'Viciously Ran Over' Agent
President Donald Trump has shared a statement on Truth Social after an ICE agent fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.
US President Donald Trump has weighed in on the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. According to Homeland Security, Good was shot in self-defense after she struck the agent with her vehicle. A video appears to show Good's Honda Pilot making contact with the agent before he opened fire.
Trump claimed Good 'viciously ran over' the ICE officer, who is recovering in a hospital. Good's mother, however, described her daughter as 'one of the kindest people I've ever known,' who was 'extremely compassionate' and 'loving.'
The incident occurred on January 7 in a Minneapolis neighborhood where ICE agents were conducting an immigration operation. Good, along with others, blocked the street with their vehicles to prevent the agents from moving. The agents ordered her to move her SUV, but she allegedly sped towards one of the officers, pushing him with her car before being shot at least once in the head.
Trump blamed the 'Radical Left' for the incident, claiming they are 'threatening, assaulting, and targeting' law enforcement officers and ICE agents. However, the circumstances surrounding Good's death are still being investigated, with her mother describing them as 'so stupid.'
