A shocking double murder in Ohio has led to the arrest of Michael David McKee, a 39-year-old vascular surgeon. McKee was taken into custody after police found a suspicious vehicle registered in his name. As investigators delve into the motive behind the tragic killings, attention has turned to McKee's past relationship with one of the victims, Monique Tepe. Monique and Spencer Tepe, a couple, were found murdered in their Ohio home. Michael McKee, Monique's ex-husband, was married to her in 2015 but they parted ways in 2017. The couple's divorce was reportedly amicable, with no signs of animosity. They did not have any children together. According to court records, McKee and Monique were separated at the time of their divorce in May 2017. A 'mutual restraining order' was filed, which is a common procedure in divorce cases to prevent either party from accessing assets without court approval. McKee, a vascular surgeon practicing in Illinois and California, was living in Virginia at the time of the divorce. He is now being held by the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office in Illinois and is scheduled to appear in court on January 12 for an extradition hearing. As the investigation continues, authorities are working to determine the motive behind the double murder. The case has sparked widespread interest, with many wondering if McKee's past relationship with Monique played a role in the tragic events.
