A massive fire engulfed multiple warehouses in downtown St. Louis on Black Friday, prompting a massive response from over 200 firefighters. The blaze, which broke out at 2nd and Gratiot near the Mississippi River, was reported at around 3 am. According to St. Louis City Fire Department Chief Dennis Jenkerson, at least four buildings were fully involved when firefighters arrived. While the fire has been contained, officials expect flare-ups to occur as embers continue to burn. "We're trying to determine the cause, but we did have some electrical outages in the area," Jenkerson said. "We'll need to investigate further once Ameren assesses the situation.
