A shocking incident unfolded at Wat Rat Prakhong Tham, a Buddhist temple in Nonthaburi, Thailand, when a 65-year-old woman, who had been presumed dead, suddenly stirred in her coffin. The temple's general and financial affairs manager, Pairat Soodthoop, revealed that the woman's brother had driven her from Phitsanulok to the temple for cremation after her health deteriorated over two years. Initially, the brother had taken her to a hospital in Bangkok, where she had expressed a desire to donate her organs, but the hospital refused to accept the body due to the lack of an official death certificate. The temple, which offers a free cremation service, initially refused to accept the body for the same reason. However, when staff heard a faint knock coming from the coffin, they opened it and discovered the woman, who was slightly responsive. Pairat said that the woman had been bedridden for two years and had appeared to stop breathing two days prior to the incident. The temple staff quickly assessed the situation and sent the woman to a nearby hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment. The temple has offered to cover her medical expenses, and the family is grateful for the temple's support. The incident has left everyone stunned, and the temple has shared a video of the miraculous revival on its Facebook page, highlighting the importance of verifying the deceased before proceeding with cremation.
