Ahan Shetty Follows Father's Advice to Nail His Role in Border 2

Actor Ahan Shetty is gearing up for his role in the highly anticipated war drama Border 2, a sequel to the iconic film Border. The younger Shetty, who has been away from the screen since 2021, revealed how his father Suniel Shetty's advice helped him stay focused and grounded during the prep process. At the film's teaser launch in Mumbai, Ahan shared that his father's guidance was to be honest, enjoy the process, and not compare the film to the original. He emphasized the importance of being true to oneself and not worrying about what others say. Ahan also spoke about the physical transformation he underwent to prepare for the role, citing his father's advice to 'just be honest' and 'enjoy the process'. Although he initially felt nervous on set, he found solace in working alongside experienced actors like Varun Dhawan and Sunny Deol. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and is set to hit theaters on January 23, 2026. The film also features Diljit Dosanjh, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, Anya Singh, and Sonam Bajwa in pivotal roles.
