Air India Faces Backlash from Sonakshi Sinha After 6-Hour Flight Delay

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha expressed her frustration with Air India after a six-hour delay on a recent flight from Mumbai. The actor took to her Instagram stories, sharing a photo from her flight window and expressing her disappointment. She claimed to have arrived at the airport at 4 am for a 5 am flight, which was repeatedly delayed until 11 am, citing no valid reason. Sinha's post, which has since been deleted, read: 'Absolutely hate you @airindia. Been at the airport since 4 am to catch a 5 am flight, which has been pushed to 11 am hour by hour for NO DAMN REASON. National carrier, it seems. Do better.' This incident marks the latest in a series of high-profile complaints against Air India. Earlier this year, musician Anoushka Shankar spoke out against the airline after her sitar was damaged during a flight, despite being charged a handling fee. Actor Raveena Tandon has also criticized Air India for its handling of passengers traveling with pets. Sonakshi's recent film, Jatadhara, a supernatural thriller, was released in both Telugu and Hindi in November. The movie features a diverse cast, including Sudheer Babu and Shilpa Shirodkar.
