Akshay Kumar's horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, which hit theatres on Friday, marks his much-awaited reunion with director Priyadarshan after nearly a decade.
Following a decent opening and a strong showing over the weekend, all eyes were on the film’s Monday performance.
Bhooth Bangla has collected ₹6.75 crore on its fourth day of release, which is also its first Monday, bringing the total India gross collections of Bhooth Bangla to ₹77.34 crore and total India net to ₹64.75 crore so far.
The film, directed by Priyadarshan, also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav, and Jisshu Sengupta.
It revolves around London-based Arjun (Akshay) and his sister (Mithila), who suddenly inherits a fortune and a palace, courtesy of their grandfather.
