Actress Anne Schedeen, best known for her role as Kate Tanner on NBC's ALF, has passed away at the age of 77. Her family announced the news on Facebook, revealing that she had a net worth of $1 million at the time of her death.
Schedeen was born on January 8, 1949, in Portland, Oregon, and began her acting career in the 1970s with appearances in TV shows such as The Six Million Dollar Man and McCloud.
She went on to appear in numerous other TV shows and movies, including Magnum PI, Murder She Wrote, and Judging Amy, before landing her breakout role as Kate Tanner on ALF, which ran for four seasons from 1986 to 1990.
After her time on ALF, Schedeen continued to work in the entertainment industry, but also pursued other passions, including interior design and real estate.
Schedeen is survived by her husband of 55 years, Christopher Barrett, as well as her children, grandchildren, and beloved rescue dogs.
