Allu Arjun Teams Up with Lokesh Kanagaraj for AA 23: A Cinematic Masterpiece in the Making

Actor Allu Arjun is set to star in his 23rd film, AA 23, alongside director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The highly anticipated project was officially announced on Bhogi (January 14) by producers Mythri Movie Makers. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Indian cinema, bringing together the 'Icon Star' and the critically acclaimed director. Music for the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and it is expected to go on floors this year. The announcement video, titled '23,' features a song with lyrics by the enigmatic Heisenberg and vocals by Hector Salamanca. Allu Arjun expressed his excitement about the new project in a social media post, saying he is 'locked in mentally' and ready to embark on a new journey with Lokesh Kanagaraj. The director's recent work includes the 2023 film Leo, starring Vijay, and the 2024 film Pushpa 2: The Rule, which shattered box office records. Lokesh Kanagaraj is also set to make his acting debut in the DC film, directed by Arun Matheswaran, alongside Wamiqa Gabbi. The director's upcoming projects include the LCU (Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe) films Benz and Kaithi. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is also working on a high-budget sci-fi film with Atlee, tentatively titled AA22 x A6, alongside Deepika Padukone. The release date for this project has yet to be announced.
