Actor and activist Amala Akkineni recently shared candid insights about her family and career on a podcast. In a heartfelt conversation, she discussed her relationship with her stepson Naga Chaitanya, revealing that they didn't get close until he moved to Hyderabad for college. According to Amala, she was in touch with Chaitanya during his childhood, but it wasn't until he started college that she really got to know him as a person. She praised him for his maturity, wisdom, and responsibility, stating that he's never made mistakes and always listened to his father. In contrast, Amala had a significant influence on her son Akhil, whom she shares with Nagarjuna. She emphasized the importance of independence and decision-making skills, which she and Nagarjuna instilled in their children from a young age. Nagarjuna's family background is also notable, with his father being the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao and his mother being Annapurna. Nagarjuna has been married twice, first to Lakshmi Daggubati, with whom he had Naga Chaitanya, and then to Amala in 1992, with whom he had Akhil. Both Chaitanya and Akhil are now married, with Chaitanya tied to Sobhita Dhulipala and Akhil married to Zainab Ravdjee.
