Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who has spent decades in the entertainment industry, recently shared a few unforgettable moments from his past, particularly his experiences with marijuana and 'bhang' during his time at the National School of Drama (NSD). In a candid conversation on Unfiltered by Samdish, the 70-year-old actor revealed how these past experiences taught him a valuable lesson – to avoid these substances for good. During his NSD days, Anupam had his first encounter with marijuana. Describing the incident, he recalled taking two drags and becoming disoriented, fixated on a plane flying overhead. "I think I watched it until it became a tiny dot in the sky," he joked. The experience left him feeling anxious and disoriented. Later that day, Anupam found himself questioning whether the road or the car was moving, highlighting the severity of his disorientation. Anupam also shared an amusing story of his 'bhang' experience, which left him laughing non-stop for eight hours straight. "I swore I would never do it again," he said. Several of his batchmates also lost their senses after trying 'bhang', with one group mistakenly believing the army was arriving and frantically warning the warden. The situation was so absurd that it reminded Anupam of the movie The Mask, starring Jim Carrey. Despite the laughter, Anupam made sure to never touch 'bhang' again. This year, Anupam appeared in films like 'Emergency,' 'Tumko Meri Kasam,' 'Metro... In Dino,' and 'Tanvi the Great.'
