In a groundbreaking move, Anurag Kashyap's critically acclaimed film 'Kennedy' has become the only Indian movie to be featured in Letterboxd's inaugural Video Store. This online film-rental platform, set to launch on Wednesday, will offer a carefully curated selection of acclaimed movies, exclusive Academy Award submissions, and festival hits that are hard to find elsewhere. 'Kennedy', starring Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone, is a gripping Mumbai-set police noir that made its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Director Anurag Kashyap calls the film one of his most personal works, and he's thrilled that audiences worldwide will soon be able to watch it. Letterboxd's Video Store will initially be available in 23 countries, with plans to expand globally. Producers Ranjan Singh, Good Bad Films, and Zee Studios are working to release the film in India soon. "We're proud to be the only Indian film in this lineup, and we thank Letterboxd for this opportunity," said Ranjan Singh. "We're eager to see the audience's response and are working with Zee Studios to bring the film to India.
