As Nandamuri Balakrishna's highly anticipated film Akhanda 2 prepares to hit theaters on December 5, fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting the release. In a unique gesture of devotion, a fan from Frankfurt, Rajasekhar Parnapalli, made headlines by shelling out a whopping ₹1 lakh for the first ticket in Germany. This remarkable bid is a testament to the star's massive following. The auction for the first ticket was organized by German distributors Taraka Rama Entertainments, which also acquired the rights for the film at an unprecedented price for a Telugu cinema in Germany. The fan, who proudly identifies himself as a 'Balayya fan anywhere in the world,' expressed his love for Balakrishna, stating that he feels a strong connection to the actor's films, reminiscent of his village and Seema Andhra roots. Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, directed by Boyapati Srinu, is a sequel to the 2021 hit film Akhanda. The fantasy action drama features Balakrishna in the lead role, playing twins separated at birth, alongside Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Harshaali Malhotra. The film's release comes at a significant time, as it had breathed new life into the film industry during the COVID-19 pandemic.
