The actress took to X, warning people not to engage with messages or calls from the number 9445893273, which she clarified does not belong to her. In a social media post, Rukmini urged people to be cautious and not share any information with the fake messages. She also assured that action is being taken against the individual and those involved in the fraudulent activities. The Bengaluru City Police responded to Rukmini's post, urging people not to share any information with the fraudsters and to report the matter to the nearest police station for necessary action. Rukmini has been busy in the film industry lately, starring in notable films such as Ace, Madharaasi, and Kantara Chapter 1, which became the highest-grossing Kannada film. Her upcoming projects include the Kannada film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups and Prashanth Neel's Telugu film with Jr NTR.
