Anumol, the winner of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7, has responded to claims that she spent ₹16 lakh on PR to secure her victory. The reality TV show, hosted by Mohanlal, concluded on Sunday with Anumol taking home a ₹42.5 lakh cash prize, a new SUV, and the trophy. During her time on the show, fellow contestant Binny Sebastian alleged that Anumol had spent ₹16 lakh on PR. When asked about the claims, Anumol admitted to having a PR team but denied spending the reported amount. In an interview with Asianet, the channel that hosts the show, Anumol stated that she was quoted ₹15 lakh by a PR person, but she chose a different option that cost ₹1 lakh. Anumol revealed that she paid ₹50,000 upfront and will pay the remaining amount after winning the show. The actor clarified that she would not have participated in the show if she had the funds to pay ₹15 or ₹16 lakh for PR. Anumol's comments shed light on the reality of the show's PR landscape and the contestants' financial arrangements.
