Singer Billie Eilish has once again voiced her discontent with Elon Musk's vast wealth, calling him 'pathetic' in a recent Instagram post. The post, which was shared for 24 hours, highlighted an activist group's claims that a fraction of Musk's $40 billion annual earnings could be used to address global crises such as world hunger and species extinction. According to reports, $40 billion could end world hunger by 2030, and $1-2 billion could protect critically endangered species. Eilish echoed the sentiment, using strong language to criticize Musk's decision to keep his wealth locked away. This is not the first time Eilish has spoken out against billionaires; she also criticized wealth inequality at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards last month, suggesting that those with more money should use it for good. In a related move, Eilish announced plans to donate $11.5 million from her global tour to charities focused on climate issues and hunger relief. Meanwhile, Musk's wealth has come under scrutiny again after Tesla shareholders approved a trillion-dollar compensation package, positioning him to become the world's first trillionaire. Musk currently tops the list of the world's richest people, a position he has held since 2021.
