Delhi-based folk-metal band Bloodywood is set to open for American rock legends Linkin Park in Bengaluru on January 23. This highly anticipated gig marks a 'full-circle moment' for the band, which has been inspired by Linkin Park's music since their early days. According to frontman Jayant Bhadula, Linkin Park's sound was instrumental in shaping their own music style and motivated them to form the band. 'They lit a fire within us that made us create this band and try to walk the same steps as them,' he said. The opportunity to share the stage with their idols is a milestone in Bloodywood's international rise. With a unique blend of heavy metal and Indian folk elements, the band has gained a loyal following in Europe, the US, and Asia through their consistent touring. As they prepare to open for Linkin Park, Jayant expressed his excitement: 'We're just very, very excited to share the stage with them.' This performance comes just two days before Linkin Park headlines Lollapalooza India in Mumbai, marking their first-ever live shows in the country.
