Hindi films are expanding their musical scope towards the North, drawing inspiration from the Bhojpuri industry. Recent Bollywood songs have either been inspired by Bhojpuri music or featured Bhojpuri artists in mainstream Hindi films.

The trend has seen several Bhojpuri tracks being recreated for Hindi films. The popular song Chatni has been remade for Dhamaal 4, featuring Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and others. Another Bhojpuri track, Ghis Ghis Ghis, has been released for Welcome To The Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar.

Other notable examples include Panwadi from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, featuring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, and Touch Buddy from Dacoit: A Love Story, which brought together Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh and actor Adivi Sesh.

The trend started with the release of Aayi Nayi in Stree 2, followed by the recreation of Chumma in Viky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
