Actor Celina Jaitly has bravely spoken out against her husband Peter Haag, accusing him of domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation during their marriage. In a courageous social media post, Celina shared her harrowing experience, revealing the emotional and physical abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband. According to Celina's legal team, Karanjawala & Co, the troubled marriage was marked by prolonged periods of emotional and physical cruelty, manipulation, and coercion. The team claims that Peter Haag used Celina's grief over the loss of her parents in 2017 to coerce her into transferring her Mumbai property to him via a gift deed. The situation took a turn for the worse when Celina's husband allegedly made derogatory comments about her, comparing her to his maid, and even threatened to disfigure her face. Celina's lawyer, Niharika Karanjawala Misra, revealed that the actor was subjected to 'tremendous cruelty' during their marriage. Celina's children, who are Austrian citizens, are currently with Peter in Austria. Celina's team has filed for custody, and the court has allowed her to have one hour of telephonic access to the children every day. The Austrian court has also allowed Celina to access the children for an hour every day, which she sees as a 'great victory personally.' Celina's case is now being fought in the court of SC Tadye, Ld. Judicial Magistrate First Class, Andheri, where Peter Haag has been served a notice under the Domestic Violence Act. The notice is returnable on December 12th, and Celina's team is confident that they will be able to prove their allegations. In a heart-wrenching social media post, Celina expressed her gratitude to her lawyer and her determination to fight for her children's love, dignity, and rights. She also revealed that she is a 'soldier's daughter' who has been taught to be courageous, disciplined, and resilient, and that she will not back down in the face of adversity. Celina's marriage to Peter Haag, an Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier, began in 2010. They have three sons together, including twin boys born in 2012 and a third son born in 2017. The couple's marriage has been marred by tragedy, including the loss of their son Shamsher due to a heart condition.
