Seventeen years have passed since the devastating 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, which left 166 people dead and over 300 injured. The nation is still grappling with the trauma of that fateful night. To pay tribute to the victims and heroes, Bollywood has come together in a powerful way. Amitabh Bachchan, a renowned film icon, has lent his voice to a heart-wrenching animated short film, honoring the memories of those who lost their lives. The film, unveiled on the anniversary of the attack, recounts the story of how the city of Mumbai and the nation as a whole refused to be broken by the barbaric act of terrorism. The short film was shared on social media by Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister, and has left audiences in awe. Bollywood stars, including Akshay Kumar, Zoya Akhtar, and Vikrant Massey, have also shown their respect and solidarity with the victims' families by sharing a commemorative post on their social media handles. Akshay Kumar's simple yet powerful message reads, 'Never forgive, never forget. Jai Hind.' Actress Isha Koppikar paid a moving tribute, saying, 'Some heroes wear uniforms... and they never fade from history.' On November 26, 2008, ten terrorists, backed by Pakistan's Lashkar-e-Taiba, stormed Mumbai via the sea route and carried out coordinated attacks across the city for nearly 60 hours. The bravery and sacrifice of the security forces and the civilians who lost their lives that night will never be forgotten. The nation remains committed to remembering the martyrs and ensuring that their sacrifices are not in vain.
