Bollywood Veteran Prem Chopra's Condition Stabilises Amid Recovery from Viral Infection

Veteran actor Prem Chopra's health is showing signs of improvement as he recovers from a viral infection at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The 92-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital under the care of cardiologist Dr Nitin Gokhale, who confirmed his hospitalisation. According to Dr Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital, Prem is being treated for a viral infection and age-related complications. Although he is not in the ICU, his recovery is expected to take some time due to his age. However, doctors are optimistic about his chances of a speedy recovery, with Dr Parkar stating that he should be fine in another three to four days. Prem Chopra's family, including his daughter Prerana Chopra, whose husband is actor Sharman Joshi, has expressed gratitude for the public's concern. Sharman Joshi shared an update on his father-in-law's condition, stating that he is undergoing some tests and is expected to return home tomorrow. A career spanning over six decades, Prem Chopra has established himself as one of Hindi Cinema's most iconic villains, with notable films including Woh Kaun Thi? (1964), Upkaar (1967), Do Raaste (1969), and Dostana (1980). The veteran actor's condition has sparked a wave of well-wishes from fans and fellow celebrities, with many hoping for his speedy recovery and return to the silver screen.
