Bollywood actor Piyush Mishra has joined the chorus of criticism against large entourages in the industry. In a recent interview, he praised the humble nature of South stars, contrasting it with the 'strange kind of stardom' prevalent in Bollywood. Mishra, known for his roles in Gangs of Wasseypur and Tamasha, shared his experience working with South directors. "I've had the pleasure of working with S. Shankar on Indian 2, and it's heartening to see how humble and approachable he is," he said. However, Mishra expressed frustration with the excessive entourage that often accompanies Bollywood actors. "It's unbelievable how some actors travel with 12-14 bodyguards and 8-9 assistants," he said. "What's the need for such a large entourage? It's a burden on others and a significant expense for filmmakers.
