Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan Starrer Border 2 has entered its second week on a strong note, having earned ₹224.25 crore net in its first week. The war drama, directed by Anurag Singh, witnessed a massive ₹59 crore collection on Republic Day. Although domestic collections saw a significant drop on Monday to ₹5.75 crore, the film still managed to rake in ₹282 crore net (₹335.50 crore gross) domestically. Globally, Border 2's collections have slowed down, especially outside India. However, it has maintained a steady pace, with an overseas collection of over $5.1 million after 11 days. This brings its global total to a remarkable ₹383 crore. Despite a slowdown in daily earnings, Border 2 is poised to become the first Indian film to reach ₹400 crore this year. In the process, it will surpass the lifetime collections of Happy New Year (₹397 crore) and Kick (₹390 crore). The film has already outperformed recent hits like Tanhaji (₹365 crore) and War 2 (₹366 crore). Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, Border 2 boasts a star-studded cast, including Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana, and Anya Singh. The film's success has already paved the way for a sequel, Border 3, as confirmed by T-Series boss Bhushan Kumar.
