The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked the makers of Rahu Ketu, a comedy drama starring Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, to make several changes before the film's release. Although the film has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate, the CBFC has requested modifications to avoid potential controversy. The changes include replacing a dialogue in one scene, as well as visuals depicting drug use, with more suitable alternatives. Additionally, the use of the middle finger has been asked to be modified to the pinky finger, and all alcohol brand names must be removed. Furthermore, the makers have been instructed to authenticate a Sanskrit shloka used in the film and replace the 'Kantara' film music, which features a distinctive scream. Rahu Ketu is directed by Vipul Vig and produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Pragati Deshmukh, Suraj Singh, and Varsha Kukreja under Zee Studios and BLive Productions. The film, a comedy adventure inspired by folklore, stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, and Shalini Pandey, alongside Chunky Panday, Piyush Mishra, Amit Sial, and Manu Rishi Chadda. The film has received support from Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sanjay Dutt, who have wished the team well. Rahu Ketu is set to release on January 16, where it will compete with Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, directed by Vir Das. Pulkit Samrat spoke about the film, saying it captures the essence of 'Fukrey' and reunites him with Varun Sharma, with whom he had a fantastic time working.
