Celina Jaitly has broken her silence on the defamation threats issued by her estranged husband Peter Haag and his father, DI Wolfgang J. Haag. The actor views the legal notices as an attempt to intimidate and silence her.

In a lengthy statement shared on Instagram, Celina responded to the legal notices, claiming that they are an attempt to divert attention from police complaints, lookout notices, allegations of violence, and documented evidence before the competent authorities.

Celina stated that she sees it as ironic that the family was happy to bask in the spotlight when it served their interests, but now, when she is trying to share her side of the story, she is being met with legal notices.

The actor clarified that her public appeals stemmed from concerns for her children and their well-being, writing that she believed it is both her right and responsibility to raise those concerns as a mother with joint custody.

Celina asserted that she would not be intimidated into silence and would continue to speak her truth and share her side of the story, adding that she has full faith in the judicial systems of India and Austria.
