Chiranjeevi's latest film, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, has made a triumphant return to the big screen, achieving a remarkable ₹100 crore milestone at the worldwide box office in just two days. The film's strong opening, grossing over ₹65 crore worldwide on its opening weekend, paved the way for its steady performance at the domestic box office, where it registered a mere 40% drop on its second day, collecting ₹19.50 crore net. The film's domestic collection stands at ₹61.10 crore net (₹73.25 crore gross) after two days, while its international collection now stands at over $3 million, taking its worldwide gross easily past ₹100 crore. Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu's success comes as a surprise to many, as it has dethroned Prabhas' The Raja Saab from the top spot at the Indian box office. The Raja Saab, which was expected to be the biggest Pongal release this year, has been struggling due to negative word of mouth, earning just ₹4.85 crore on its second day, compared to Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu's ₹19.50 crore net. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is a classic Chiranjeevi-style action entertainer that also stars Nayanthara and features an extended cameo by Daggubati Venkatesh. The film released on January 12, ahead of the Pongal holiday, and is expected to see an upswing in collections during the festive period.
