Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone's luxury skincare brand, 82°E, has reported a significant loss of ₹12.26 crore in the 2024-25 financial year, according to recent filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The company, operating under DPKA Universal Consumer Ventures Private Limited, had previously seen losses of over ₹23 crore in the 2023-24 financial year. The latest financial reports show a 30% decline in revenue, from ₹21.21 crore in 2023-24 to ₹14.66 crore in 2024-25. However, the company has managed to reduce its losses, which is a positive sign. 82°E's market expenditure also saw a substantial reduction of 78%, from ₹20 crore in 2023-24 to ₹4.4 crore in 2024-25. Despite Deepika's significant social media presence and popularity, the brand has struggled to turn a profit since its launch in 2021. In contrast, Katrina Kaif's Kay Beauty has seen an uptick in sales and has posted massive profits in recent years. In other news, Deepika Padukone has two big films in the pipeline, including the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'King' and a yet-to-be-titled film with Allu Arjun, directed by Atlee. The actress will next be seen in 'King,' which is set to release in April 2026.
