In a heartfelt gesture, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has declared Farhan Akhtar's war drama '120 Bahadur' tax-free in the capital city. The film, which tells the inspiring story of the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War, pays tribute to the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of 120 soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment. The film, directed by Razneesh Ghai and produced by Farhan's Excel Entertainment, stars Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh, a hero who led one of the greatest last stands in military history. Despite being outnumbered by over 2000 Chinese troops, the Indian soldiers valiantly held their ground at Rezang La. The Delhi Government's decision to grant tax-free status to the film is a special mark of respect to the brave soldiers who fought for their country. The move has been welcomed by the film's team, including Farhan Akhtar, who expressed gratitude to Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav for praising the film's message. Although '120 Bahadur' has received critical acclaim, it has not achieved massive box office success, earning just ₹15 crore net in India in its first week. The film also stars Raashii Khanna, Vivan Bhatena, and Ankit Siwach. With its inspiring true story and heroic characters, '120 Bahadur' is a must-watch for anyone interested in India's military history and the sacrifices made by its bravest soldiers.
