The upcoming Cocktail 2 shoot, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, has been delayed due to severe air pollution and heightened security concerns in Delhi. The original plan was to begin filming on November 12, but the makers have pushed the schedule to December, citing the alarming rise in air pollution levels and the recent blast in the capital. The blast near the Red Fort metro station on Monday evening killed 13 people and injured 21, prompting the team to reassess their plans. The shoot was set to take place in various locations across Delhi, including the university area, South Delhi, and Central Delhi. Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania, is a sequel to the 2012 romantic comedy that starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. The new cast has already completed filming in Europe and is set to star in the sequel, which explores the complex relationships and friendships of three characters in London.
