Veteran filmmaker Anil Sharma, a close friend and collaborator of the Deol family, has shared a poignant account of Dharmendra's final days. According to Sharma, the 89-year-old actor, affectionately known as 'He-Man of Bollywood,' showed signs of recovery after being discharged from the hospital on November 12. During a visit to his home, Sharma witnessed Dharmendra responding to his surroundings, opening his eyes, and even moving his hands, giving everyone hope for his recovery. However, despite the initial optimism, Dharmendra's condition took a turn for the worse, and he passed away on November 24. The legendary actor, who would have turned 90 on December 8, is survived by his wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, his children, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol, and Ahana Deol, as well as his extended family. Sharma has a long creative history with Dharmendra, having directed him in several films, including Hukumat (1987) and Elaan-E-Jung. He also worked with Dharmendra's sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, on several projects, including Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Apne. The filmmaker's collaborations with the Deol family have been a significant part of his career, spanning over six decades. Dharmendra's legacy as one of Bollywood's most beloved and enduring stars will be remembered by millions of fans worldwide.
