Both his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Malini had swiftly denied the rumors, confirming that Dharmendra was stable and recovering. Esha Deol took to Instagram to clarify the situation, urging fans to respect their family's privacy. "We request everyone to give our family some space during this time," she wrote. Hema Malini also expressed her disappointment on X (formerly Twitter) at the misinformation being spread. "It's unforgivable to spread false news about someone who is recovering," she said. "Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.
