The blockbuster spy action thriller Dhurandhar is still going strong at the box office, 10 days after its release. Celebrities like Smriti Irani and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are among the many who are praising the film's performances, particularly that of Akshaye Khanna, Ranveer Singh, and Arjun Rampal. Smriti Irani, a BJP leader and former TV star, recently reviewed the film on her social media handle, calling Akshaye Khanna's performance a 'lesson in craft'. She praised his portrayal of Rehman Dakait, saying it was a standout moment in the film. In a separate post, Smriti shared a clip from the 2010 film Tees Maar Khan, where Akshaye Khanna's character is approached by Akshay Kumar with dreams of winning an Oscar. Smriti wrote, 'When Akshaye Khanna has surpassed all expectations & you too want to yell..... de do Oscar.' Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a Bollywood actress and newlywed, also took to her social media handle to praise Dhurandhar. She called the film a 'thrilling experience' and praised Ranveer Singh's performance, saying he was 'unreal' and a 'shapeshifter'. She also congratulated the film's director, Aditya Dhar, and the entire cast, including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt. The film's success has left movie lovers eagerly waiting for the sequel, Dhurandhar 2, which is set to release on March 19, 2026.
