Bollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan is gearing up for the release of his Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Kaantha on November 14. The actor recently interacted with fans at LuLu Mall in Kerala, where he addressed criticism about his script selection. When a fan praised Dulquer's ability to choose great scripts, the actor indirectly referenced his 2023 film King of Kotha, which failed to impress audiences and critics. Dulquer pointed out that he is often praised for his script selection when his films are hits, but criticized when one film flops. King of Kotha, which Dulquer produced and starred in, was released with high expectations but grossed only ₹31.35 crore worldwide, despite a budget of ₹50 crore. However, the actor has since bounced back with a string of successful projects, including a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD and the hit Telugu film, Lucky Baskhar. His production, Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, has become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time, with over ₹300 crore in collections. Dulquer's upcoming projects include Aakasamlo Oka Tara in Telugu and I'm Game in Malayalam. The actor's ability to adapt and bounce back from setbacks has earned him a reputation as a talented and resilient performer in the Indian film industry.
