Ahaan Panday's rise to fame in Mohit Suri's Saiyaara has left fans in awe. The 27-year-old actor's journey to stardom, however, began almost a decade ago. In a recent interview, Ahaan revealed that he gave his first audition at 16, before his cousin Ananya Panday even started her acting career. Ahaan's first brush with acting was through school dramas and speeches, where he struggled to find his confidence. He eventually decided to pursue a career in acting, despite initial doubts. Ahaan's first audition was for a Hindi remake of the Telugu film Happy Days, starring Tamannaah Bhatia. The film, directed by Sekhar Kammula, was a huge box office success in 2007. Although reports suggested a Hindi remake, there has been no update on the project. Ahaan's journey to Saiyaara was not a straightforward one, but it paved the way for his breakthrough role as Krish Kapoor. The actor will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming actioner, backed by YRF and starring Sharvari in the lead.
