Lauren Graham, the beloved star of Gilmore Girls, is teaming up with show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino to release a new book in Fall 2027. The untitled memoir promises to offer a fresh perspective on the popular dramedy, providing readers with sharp wit, personal reflections, and never-before-shared stories about the show's iconic characters. Graham and Sherman-Palladino, who worked together on the original series and its 2016 Netflix revival, will take readers on a journey through the special years they spent filming in fictional Stars Hollow, Connecticut. The book will feature Graham's experiences as single mother Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory, played by Alexis Bledel. In a statement, Graham expressed her excitement about collaborating with Sherman-Palladino, saying, 'I'm thrilled to bring readers all our stories of the special years we spent filming Gilmore Girls, the first and second time!' Sherman-Palladino, who returned to the show for its revival, added that she would 'jump at any chance' to work with Graham again, citing their undeniable chemistry. This upcoming book marks a new chapter in Graham's writing career, following her 2016 essay collection, Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls. Sherman-Palladino has also shared her connection to the show through her foreword in Kelly Bishop's book, The Third Gilmore Girl, released last year. Fans of the beloved series can look forward to a unique and intimate look at the making of Gilmore Girls with this highly anticipated book.
