Renowned filmmaker Jonathan Nolan has once again expressed admiration for India's film industry, calling it 'fearless' and 'ambitious' in a way that Hollywood often lacks. Nolan, who is set to release the second season of his hit series 'Fallout,' spoke to Hindustan Times about what sets Indian cinema apart. In a recent interview, Nolan reflected on his previous statement that Bollywood is 'bigger than' Hollywood. When asked about the edge that Indian cinema has over its American counterpart, Nolan cited its fearlessness and ambition as key factors. 'There's a level of ambition that is very exciting,' he said. Despite being busy with 'Fallout,' Nolan expressed a desire to explore more Indian films, but admits that his schedule often leaves him little time to do so. 'Unfortunately, given the schedule of making television means you often don't have a lot of time to watch any television or film,' he explained. The highly-anticipated second season of 'Fallout' is set to premiere on Prime Video on December 17, with new episodes released weekly through February 4, 2026. The series reunites the original cast, including Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins. Nolan's praise for Indian cinema comes as the industry continues to gain global recognition and admiration.
