At the 56th International Film Festival of India, director Ramesh Sippy paid tribute to late actor Dharmendra, calling him 'the most wonderful man' and 'one of the finest ever.' Sippy's remarks came during a session commemorating the 50th anniversary of the iconic film Sholay, which catapulted Dharmendra to superstardom. Despite assuring that other talented actors will emerge, Sippy emphasized that Dharmendra's unique combination of exceptional talent and kind heart cannot be replicated. The restored version of Sholay in 4K will be released in Indian theaters on December 12. Sippy expressed his personal grief over Dharmendra's passing, noting that he recently met with the actor's children, Sunny and Bobby, to offer his condolences and wish them well.
