Bollywood actor Imran Khan has sparked a heated debate in the film industry by criticizing stars who exploit their films with hefty fees. In a recent interview, Imran pointed out that some actors are taking advantage of the system, leading to inflated budgets and decreased profitability. Imran, who recently made a cameo appearance in Aamir Khan Productions' Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, understands the importance of casting decisions based on an actor's market value and box office pull. However, he believes that some stars are now taking undue advantage of the system. Imran credits his uncle Aamir Khan for teaching him the value of investing in a film and taking personal responsibility for its success. Unlike some stars who demand exorbitant fees upfront, Aamir has always taken a more philanthropic approach. He believes in rolling the dice and taking a gamble on the film's potential success, rather than handicapping it with high upfront fees. Imran praised Aamir's approach, saying, "He'll never say, 'Give me ₹60 crore as a fee' or 'Give me ₹75 crore as a fee.' That's foolishness. You're exploiting your film and enriching yourself personally at the cost of it." Imran's words come as he prepares to star in an upcoming film alongside Bhumi Pednekar, directed by Danish Aslam and co-produced by Imran himself.
