Bollywood legend Jaya Bachchan recently spoke about the key differences between her and her husband, Amitabh Bachchan, at a panel discussion at the We The Women event in Mumbai. The couple celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary earlier this year and are known for their enduring love and partnership. Jaya credited Amitabh's discipline as one of the qualities she admires most about him, saying, 'He does not speak. He is not free with his opinion like I am.' Jaya went on to explain that Amitabh's reserved nature is a stark contrast to her own outspoken personality. 'He keeps it to himself, but he knows how to convey what he wants to, at the right time, in the right way,' she said. The couple's contrasting personalities have been a key aspect of their relationship, with Jaya joking that if they were both alike, 'He would be in Vrindavan and I would be somewhere else!' Amitabh and Jaya have been married since June 3, 1973, and have two children together, Shweta and Abhishek. They have been a power couple in Bollywood, working together in several iconic films, including Zanjeer and Sholay. Jaya took a break from acting to focus on her family after marrying Amitabh, but made a successful comeback in 1998 with the film Ek Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa.
