Bollywood actor Dharmendra, known as the 'He-Man' of the industry, passed away on November 24, leaving behind a legacy of iconic films and unforgettable performances. As a tribute to the late actor, Indian Idol 16 invited his close friend and co-star Jeetendra to share his memories on the show. In a heartfelt promo, Jeetendra broke down in tears while reminiscing about their friendship, saying, 'Dharmendra was a very kind person and made a huge contribution to my life.' Fellow judge Badshah was also seen fighting back tears during the emotional tribute. The episode will air on Sony TV this weekend. Jeetendra and Dharmendra shared the screen in several films, including Dharam Veer, The Burning Train, and Hum Sab Chor Hain. In a statement to Times of India, Jeetendra expressed his deep grief, saying, 'I've lost a friend, more a brother to me! Our friendship has always stood the test of time, and the moments we shared will live on forever in my heart.' Dharmendra is survived by his two wives, Hema Malini and Prakash Kaur, and six children, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Esha Deol. The late actor's family had earlier clarified that he was recovering from health issues before his passing on November 24.
