The Kala Hiran controversy has taken a fresh turn as producer Amit Jani sends a legal notice to Govind Namdev demanding a ₹50 lakh compensation and a public apology within seven days.
Govind Namdev distanced himself from the film after watching the teaser, claiming the filmmakers kept him in the dark about the lead character's portrayal.
Amit Jani revealed the legal notice on X, stating that Govind must pay a fine of ₹50 lakh or face legal action.
The film, Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy, is reportedly inspired by Salman Khan's 1998 blackbuck poaching case and features Kashif Iqbal Khan in the lead role.
Earlier, Salman Khan sent a legal notice to the producer, and Amit Jani claimed to have received death threats.
