Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has faced a setback in her journey to become a licensed attorney in California. Despite her determination, she failed the state's bar exam, but remains committed to pursuing her law career. In a recent Instagram post, Kardashian expressed her gratitude to supporters and vowed to continue studying and pushing forward. According to USA Today reports, the bar exam pass rate in the United States is relatively low, with only 53.8% of participants clearing the examination in July 2024 and February 2024. Kardashian, who has been working towards becoming a lawyer for six years, took the test in July 2025, after passing the California's First-Year Law Students' Exam in late 2021. This isn't the first time Kardashian has faced a hurdle in her law school journey. She initially failed the First-Year Law Students' Exam three times in two years before passing it. Her father, Robert Kardashian Sr., was a lawyer who represented O.J. Simpson in his high-profile murder trial, inspiring Kim to follow in his footsteps. In a surprising twist, Kardashian plays a successful divorce lawyer on the new Hulu series 'All's Fair,' which premiered on November 4. The show, created by Ryan Murphy, follows the journey of an all-female law firm in Los Angeles, California. While Kardashian's real-life law career may be on hold, she remains committed to her goal. As she said in her Instagram post, 'No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination.'
