Los Angeles-based creator Lena Dunham has announced that her romantic comedy series 'Too Much' will not be renewed for a second season. The 10-episode limited series, co-created with her husband Luis Felber, was designed to be a self-contained story. The show follows New York workaholic Jessica as she navigates love and relationships in London after a breakup. In a recent panel discussion, Dunham expressed her gratitude towards the show's cast, particularly Megan Stalter and Will Sharpe, whose characters served as the inspiration for the series. She acknowledged that while she's attached to the idea of another season, the story has been effectively concluded. Dunham revealed that she and her husband had initially envisioned the series as a limited story, allowing them to delve deeper into the complexities of the characters' relationships. The series, which concluded with a wedding, also features an Easter egg in its final scene where Dunham can be heard yelling 'cut!' Dunham has been living in the UK with her husband and is set to write, produce, and direct the upcoming film 'Good Sex', which boasts an impressive cast including Natalie Portman and Mark Ruffalo.
