Director Tharun Moorthy has clarified that the shooting of his upcoming Malayalam film, Athimanoharam, starring Mohanlal, has not been halted due to scripting issues.
Tharun took to his social media to issue a clarification after the news spread, assuring fans that shooting was in progress.
He posted a monochrome picture on his Instagram Stories, stating that they have been shooting in Thodupuzha for the past 78 days and that the rain was making it difficult for them to shoot.
Tharun urged the audience not to spread unverified information, as it can create unnecessary confusion among the audience and affect the efforts of the entire team.
Athimanoharam is a police procedural with a family drama at its core, and marks Mohanlal's 366th film and his second collaboration with Tharun after Thudarum.
The film features Mohanlal as Sub-Inspector TS Lovelajan, with Meera Jasmine playing the female lead, and has a talented team behind it, including Ratheesh Ravi, Jakes Bejoy, Shaji Kumar, and Vivek Harshan.
