Bollywood filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt has spoken candidly about feeling disappointed not to receive an invitation to his niece Alia Bhatt's wedding to Ranbir Kapoor. The incident reportedly strained his relationship with his brother Mahesh Bhatt. Mukesh expressed his desire to meet Alia's three-year-old daughter Raha, who was born in November 2022. In an interview, he revealed that he was hurt by not being invited to the wedding, despite his close bond with Alia and her sister Shaheen. Mukesh stated, 'I'd be a hypocrite if I said I didn't feel bad. I felt bad, of course. I love Alia a lot, and Shaheen too. When she got married, I thought, 'My daughter is getting married.' I wanted to be there.' The filmmaker also shared that he hasn't met Raha, citing concerns about not wanting to disrupt the family dynamics. However, he sent his blessings to Alia, saying, 'I wished her from the heart.' The reported rift between Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt dates back to 2021, when Mukesh stated that Vishesh Films would be run by his children in the future. This sparked speculation about a potential split between the two brothers. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in April 2022, and their daughter Raha was born later that year. The couple made their first public appearance with Raha on Christmas in 2023. However, Alia recently removed Raha's photos from her social media platforms, sparking curiosity among fans.
