Bollywood personality Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, has been summoned by the Mumbai Police's Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) to answer questions about his alleged involvement in a high-profile drugs case. However, he failed to appear as scheduled on November 20 and instead sent his lawyer, who requested a delay until November 25. According to sources, Orry's lawyer cited 'unavoidable circumstances' for the absence, but the ANC has maintained that the socialite must cooperate with the investigation. The summons were issued following a confession by alleged drug trafficker Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, who claims to have organized lavish parties in Dubai and Mumbai attended by several high-profile celebrities, including Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, and Orry himself. The case centers around a massive seizure of 126.14 kg of mephedrone, worth approximately ₹252 crore, made by the police in March 2024 at a manufacturing facility in Sangli district. Shaikh, who was deported from Dubai last month, confessed to organizing rave parties for celebrities across India and abroad. Orry, a well-known socialite and lifestyle influencer, has been a fixture in Bollywood's inner circle, often seen posing with top celebrities. He has not publicly commented on the summons, despite being spotted enjoying a high-energy concert by Travis Scott in Mumbai just days before the scheduled appearance.
